Eleven years at the same bench
Logical Solutions is a small made-to-order furniture workshop in the Salt Lake valley. We build casegoods, upholstery and stone-topped pieces on commission for people furnishing a room properly rather than quickly.
We buy hardwood in the board, mill it ourselves and let it settle before it is cut. Frames are joined with mortise and tenon and drawboared where it matters. Upholstery is built over kiln-dried hardwood with eight-way hand-tied suspension. Finishes are hand-rubbed oil, built in thin coats.
Nothing here is held in stock. When you order a piece, that piece is made for you, which is why the lead time is six to eight weeks and why almost anything about it can be changed before we start.
